Terms of Reference

The terms of reference of the Assessment Panel are –

  1. to advise on and review the general direction, administration and mode of operation of the Frontier Technology Research Support Scheme (FTRSS), including the Funding Guidelines, vetting procedures, assessment criteria, arrangements for managing conflict of interests, etc.;
  2. to conduct assessment of applications received under the FTRSS having regard to the Funding Guidelines and circumstances of individual cases;
  3. to make recommendations to the Commissioner for Innovation and Technology on approval of applications, including funding amounts, terms and conditions, performance indicators and milestones, etc.; and
  4. to advise on any other matters relating to the FTRSS as requested by the Government.
